Mommy Monday: Scheel's

Jordan and I have been wanting to take Norah to the Discovery at the Gateway kids museum for awhile now.  We finally had an opportunity to go on Saturday and we didn't take it.  We were actually driving up to Salt Lake to go to the Museum when we decided we better just do something for free instead. Luckily the monstrosity of a building that is Scheel's caught our attention from the freeway, and we decided to give it a shot.  I'll tell you what, if you want something fun and free for your kids to do take them to Scheel's! Norah was in heaven from the moment we walked in and were greeted with a giant fish tank.  She ran up to the tank and said "same as nemo!" she thought it was so cool.  We then took her to the little playground they have that includes a slide and an obstacle-like play area and fun spinny things. When she was done playing there she noticed the giant Ferris Wheel and said, "too scawy, I'm not gonna twy it!".  After we assured her that we weren't going to make her go on the Ferris Wheel we were able to move on to the golf section.  There was a little putting area and Norah enjoyed swinging a gulf club around. After that we took her to see the massive display of taxidermy animals, she didn't seem to mind that they were dead and was fascinated with a particular white fox.  Moral of the story Scheel's did not disappoint
The fish tank

She was excited to get in the "Big Twuck!"

Yeah she is scared of a Ferris Wheel but won't hesitate to hug a bear!

He looks pretty good in a truck if I do say so myself!
